Lacing wire is used to connect gabions and all our other double twist mesh products to each other. It is also used as an internal connecting wire or bracing wire in gabions, mattresses, and terra mesh units.

Generally, the weight of the lacing wire is 5% of the weight of the gabions. Therefore, when you place an order, it is very important to ask the weight of the gabions. If you need more than 5%, you have to pay for the extra lacing wires. It’s at about USD 0.80/Kg.

The material of the lacing wire shall be the same with the gabions you ordered, galvanized, galfan or PVC coated.
